SEO, AEO and GEO: from findings to verification

AdaPanel’s SEO/AEO/GEO tool checks technical visibility signals on sites you manage and reports findings with suggested fixes. It does not automatically rewrite content; verify each change on the actual page after applying it.

How do SEO, AEO and GEO differ?

Accessible, useful content is the shared foundation. Help visitors complete their actual tasks instead of creating many near-duplicate pages or text intended only for crawlers.

Which signals does AdaPanel measure?

The site audit examines titles and descriptions, H1 and other headings, canonical URLs, HTML language, robots directives, sitemaps, image alt attributes, links and JSON-LD structure. Findings are evaluated per page.

Googlebot, Bingbot, AI search crawlers and training crawlers have different purposes. Assess robots policy separately from observed crawler access in the logs. Permission to crawl is not evidence that a page has been indexed or cited.

The audit reads returned HTML without executing JavaScript. Applications that create content in the browser may have different raw and rendered views. Finding a canonical tag or a JSON-LD block does not prove that it is correct.

In what order should findings be fixed?

  1. Confirm the audit targets the real website domain and pages open over HTTPS, rather than a mail or preview hostname.
  2. Resolve access problems, redirects and unintended indexing restrictions. Missing pages should return a genuine 404.
  3. Give each page a descriptive title, description and one main H1. Match canonical and language alternates to the actual URLs.
  4. Put product facts, question answers and instructions in visible HTML. Keep structured data consistent with that content.
  5. Run the audit again after changes. Use Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools to track indexing, queries and clicks.

What makes an audit result useful?

If a Turkish page mistakenly points its canonical at the English page, adding another tag will not help: the URL mapping needs correction. If robots.txt could not be fetched, do not label crawlers as allowed. An unmeasured check and a successful check are distinct states.

A visible FAQ can help visitors; adding structured data does not guarantee a special search appearance or AI citation. AdaPanel helps track technical findings, but does not determine search rankings.

Frequently asked questions

Does AdaPanel automatically fix SEO issues?

The audit reports findings and recommendations. It does not automatically change site copy, templates or robots settings. Apply the appropriate fix on the site and measure again.

Is a separate AI file required for GEO?

Google’s generative search features do not require a special AI file. Prioritize crawlability, a sound technical structure and content that helps visitors.

Does passing technical checks guarantee a top ranking?

No. Content quality, competition, external signals and search systems’ assessments also matter. Track indexing and real search performance separately.
